The situated adapter retains the existing torus, forage, signalling, colour-bank, contact, and fixed-population mortality behaviour while using ordinary bodies and the shared ensemble lifecycle.

This readiness means the established adapter is exercised by examples and tests. It is not a confirmed ecological model or evidence for collective intelligence, social transmission, or multi-agent criticality.
